The project “Four books + one pair of glasses” consists of an exhibit at the Basilica Palladiana in Verona, where the elements inside the essay “Four books of architecture” wrote by Andrea Palladio were exposed.

The exhibit was divided in four main sections to recall the tile of Palladio’s book of whose the most emblematic elements were  then chosen.

The first section, called “Le rovine” (The Ruins), was thought as an open space where the object was shown as an archeological ruin.

The second section, “Gli edifici privati” (The private buildings), wants to recreate the feeling of being in a closed space through the construction of a threedimensional structure with totems.

Inside of the totems there is a 3D building rapresentation of a building chosen from the book. Moreover, the structure is covered by a cloth tipycal of Carlo Scarpa’s exhibitions, to whom he refers to as “cencio di nonna”(Grandma’s rag).

The third section, “Gli edifici pubblici” (The public buildings), was thought as a multimedial room in which the public buildings mentioned by Palladio were reproduced.

In the fourth section, “Gli edifici perfetti” (The perfect buildings), there is the expostion of a little temple of San Pietro in Montorio and other three temples’ drawings on a cloth that enclosed the entire section.
