This project focus on redeveloping the now disused Torino Exposition building near the Valentino park and the Po river.
The main ambitions are to insert a part of the Politecnico of Turin and a pubic space.
The existing building has different pavillions of which an entire wing will be used by the Politecnico (the pavillion with elevation on the next page), while the pavillion in the middle is going to be planned as a massive public space to help the connection between the city and Valentino park. This is the most important pavillion because it contains a Pier Luigi Nervi vault.
Meanwhile in the rest of the building the original functions are restored as a flexible exposition space and theatre.
